Hello hello :) so this week I’m sad to
say this has just been another week here in the Pines. Hot, no rain
surprisingly, good food and decent work. I always have stuff to say during the
week then I get here and I forget. And with that recorder you gave me I’ve been
a little lazy using it… :) but I did record some but I didn’t bring it because
we just got done with Kawa Kawa again. I took a lot of cool pictures and we
played some fun games and yes it was hot:) umm ya I’m basically done ha-ha I
got nothing this week so peace:)

So you’ve been asking me what I want
for my birthday and I’ve been trying to think of anything and over the past
couple of weeks I haven’t thought of anything I really need. But earlier I said
we went to Kawa Kawa and after we were done we walked past a house and it
happened to be a members. She sells souvenirs and while I was looking she
showed me a scripture case made of coconut wood, a necktie also made of
coconut, and nametag made of wood that can be specialized to say any name so
for me "Elder Merrill" and then a belt made of the horn of a caribou.
As I added all the prices up (a little expensive here) it was a total of 10,480
pesos and then I converted it to American and it’s about 210 US$. Yes a little
expensive I know but they were freaking cool!! If you want I won’t accept any
gifts from anyone else and you can just get both sides of grandparents to help
out, and that’s all I’d ask for this year. Scripture case, necktie, belt, and
nametag. also I know I have about 100$ in my account from gma Merrill so I
could use that too but ya... :) and IF you were to still send a package I would
just ask for food and candy (don’t forget sour gummy worms) then just whatever
else. On the other subject the family that their house burned down there golden
in the cloths, food, shoes, department but they don’t have enough money to
finish their house so you said you would like to send a care package but they
are good with that, but they’re lacking money to buy supplies. So the way you
could help is just money. Money, money I know I’m asking for a lot and you
don’t even have to do it but ya :) that’s about it.

FREAK!!!!!! I forgot to say I ate DOG
this week!!! :) Yes I actually ate dog. A member invited us to dinner and we
said, what are we eating, dog? And they said sure if you want. So heck ya then
we came back and they had it all prepared for us, it was cooked in the form of
adobo and it was pretty dang good. Not like chicken though but not like beef or
pig. Then it was funny cause while we were eating that they served us hotdog.
:D
